Our Story

Our first venture in Sandbach was created in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. Serving artsan coffee and homemade traybakes and pastries from The Van in Sandbach Park we quickly established a reputation for great tasting coffee, sweet treats and friendly - occasionally cheeky - banter. Customers still comment on how we helped through the stress of the pandemic.

By Spring 2021 people wanted to go back indoors and we were able to acqure a tea-room overlooking The Commons which we subsequently turned into the The House. With an expanded food and drink offer, including paninis, toasties, sandwiches and salads. The House quickly established itself as Sandbach's premier, artisan coffee shop.

Fast forward to 2025 and we seized the opportunity to acquire one of Sandbach's favourite venues and we raced to get it ready for a launch in time for Christmas 2025 as The Town House. The succes sof our wine tasting at The House convince us Sandbach was ready for a dedicated wine bar & bistro so se we set about sourcing a great selections of wines not available elsewhere in Sandbach, a wine-vending machine that would enable us to introduce new wines, explore new parts of the wine world and give customers to try something 'different'.

By Spring 2026 we were ready to launch our food offer including delicious brunches during the day, bar snacks and appetisers and world-inspired small plates from mid-afternoon to closing.

Now, as spring turns to summer, are you ready to create 'drink envy' for passers-by from our terrace? The Terrace at The Town House, was recently refurbished and new furniture instlled and it is now the place to be seen in Sandbach on a sunny day.
